One Red Paper Clip...

I recently read about a guy in Canada who traded like no man has traded before. He started with a single red paper clip. From that to a fish-shaped pen. Then to a smilie face door knob. Then a camping stove. Then a generator. Then a party package with a keg, neon budwizer sign. From that to a snowmobile. From snowmobile to an all expence paid trip to Yahk, Canada. That got him a 1995 Cintas van. A musician traded that for a recording contract and album publicity. That was sold to a woman in Phoenix for a one year lease on a home. He hopes to end up with a whole home, free and clear.

I think that's a great idea, but anyone could do that. So I think I will go the other way. I think I will try to start with a house, then trade my way down to a red paper clip. In fact, I could probably even make it in one step. That's way better than all of the steps that one guy made.

Oh, I can see the publicity now...
