Hypercolor Hair...

While playing on the computer last night, Anna walked up behind me and almost had a conniption. She saw something on my head that she was not pleased with.

I had as much or less dandruff than normal. The ticks have moved out since the lice came to town. A recent shampoo actually removed enough oil so she can't use my head as a mirror anymore. So what can affect Anna enough to cause such a scene? She found a white hair.

According to her, it was not just a light hair or even an old, worn out hair. It was, in fact, pure white as the driven snow. She blurted out, "I'm married to an old man!" I assured her that, unlike her, my hair wasn't all the same color. I had a bit of every color in my hair. She seemed to be convinced that I was just old.

It just so happened to be my father's birthday as well, so I wished him a happy birthday and told him that I was sharing his fate of old age. My mom wrote back and said, "Don't worry, Jared, red heads have every color of hair on their heads. Dad
says on the other hand marriage helps with getting white hair too!"

Amen.
